Listing of mediators of Pokhara Metropolitan City Judicial Committee

In accordance with the provisions of Sections 60, 61 of the Pokhara Metropolitan City Judicial Committee (Procedures) Act, 2074 and Section 49 (3) of the Local Government Administration Act, 2074, a person who has received mediation training or an organization that has received approval from the Mediation Council and who wishes to get their name listed as a mediator in Pokhara Metropolitan City for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/083 as per the decision of the Judicial Committee, is hereby requested to submit an application within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice.

(a) Documents and details to be attached with the application for listing

1. Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,

2. Have completed twenty-five years of age,

3. Copy of the certificate of proficiency level (class twelve) or equivalent educational qualification,

4. Copy of the mediator's certificate of completion of 48 hours of training,

5. Experience and personal details related to reconciliation (Bio-data)

6. Two copies of a recent passport-sized photograph of the mediator,

(a) In the case of an organization engaged in reconciliation work

1. Copy of the approval given by the Conciliation Council to carry out conciliation-related work,

2. Application along with a copy of the organization registration and renewal certificate and the organization's regulations,

Note:- The application form can be obtained free of cost from the Secretariat of the Pokhara Metropolitan City Judicial Committee. Also, if you have only submitted an application for renewal, you will have to submit an application along with documents for reconciliation based on this notice, as the damage was caused due to arson and vandalism during the Genji movement on Bhadra 23 and 24.
