Notice regarding leasing of developed land plots in Simara Special Economic Zone Block "A" (Expansion) for establishment and operation of industries

This notice has been published for investors and industrialists who are interested in establishing, operating and managing industries in Special Economic Zones in accordance with Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2073 BS and Rules 24 and 25 of the Special Economic Zone Regulations, 2074 BS to submit applications as per Schedule 4 of the Regulations. Applicants are advised to submit applications as follows.

Red

The following:

1. Industries other than those mentioned in Schedule 3 of the Special Economic Zone Regulations, 2074 BS that cannot be established in a Special Economic Zone must be established.

2. The industry may be provided with facilities as per clause (i) of Section 16 of the Special Economic Zones Act.

3. Exemption facilities will be available for the first 3 years of lease of land in special economic zones as per Section 26 of the Act.

4. Investors may submit an application to the Authority's central office and branch office in Simara during office hours within the 15th day from the date of publication of the notice.

5. Detailed information on the application format and the documents and details to be submitted along with the application is available on the Authority's website www.seznepal.gov.np.
