30-day notice regarding submission of applications by experienced organizations interested in operating and managing a centralized kitchen

In the present matter, for the purpose of serving midday meals to students of specified classes of designated community schools of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality from the centralized kitchen constructed by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, interested organizations that comply with the following conditions and have experience in operating and managing centralized kitchens on a cost-sharing basis should submit an application along with the following documents to the Education, Youth and Sports Section of this office within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned.

1 Application.

2. Proven experience and commitment letter from the relevant body proving that a large group (at least four thousand or more) of students have been served lunch at the same time.

3 Institutional details of the association/organization.

4. Copy of duly registered certificate and its renewal if required.

5 Audit Report dated A.Y. 2080/81.

6 Permanent Account Number (PAN) Registration Certificate.

7. Registration certificate from the Internal Revenue Office and tax payment certificate for the fiscal year 2080/81.

8. The amount to be provided by the municipality, including the conditional grant available from the Government of Nepal to provide midday meals to students, and the basis for confirming the applicant organization's ability to raise the amount that is insufficient to that amount, including an action plan and commitment letter for raising it.

9 Details of the necessary manpower required for kitchen operation and management (nutrition technicians, cooks, transporters, cleaners, watchmen, etc.).

10. Registration certificate of the concerned body regarding ensuring the quality of the lunch and self-declaration regarding ensuring the quality of the lunch.

Conditions to be followed for centralized kitchen operation and management:

1 Must be willing to work under the conditions of service specified by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.

2. You must manage the minimum manpower required for kitchen operation and management yourself.

3. All persons involved in the operation and management of the kitchen must undergo a health check and be qualified to cook lunch.

4. All food items required for lunch should be produced, collected and supplied locally according to the prescribed menu.

5. Other conditions set by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality must be followed.

6. Provision of quality, nutritious food as specified by the Madhyapur Thimi Food Security and Nutrition Policy.

7. The acts, rules, directives, procedures and circulars issued by the Government of Nepal, provincial governments and local governments from time to time should be fully implemented. Ching b
