Notice regarding filling of application form for scholarship in higher education

In accordance with the University Grants Commission Program Procedure 2081 and Higher Education Scholarship Management (First Amendment) Guidelines, 2080, for the purpose of increasing access to higher education, students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged or children of Dalits, Martyrs and Conflict Victims, Freedmen and Muslim women students who have completed the minimum qualifications and who have completed the minimum qualification for higher education in the first year of Bachelor/Post-Graduate level in the financial year 2081/082. It is advised to upload the scholarship application form on the Commission's website www.ugcnepal.edu.np by clicking on Scholarship and uploading the required documents and recommendation letter through online means.
Students must upload the following documents along with the application form:
1. Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate,
2. Proof of enrollment in the relevant educational institution (admission will or letter of recommendation)
3. Letter of recommendation (Schedule 2) downloaded from Scholarship website and recommended by the concerned body.
4. Copy of transcript of last academic degree
5. Copy of check book of account holder student's bank account (National Commercial Bank, Nepal Bank Limited and Krishi Bikas Bank)
Certificate of relevant class opening and letter of recommendation
6. (a) In the case of children of martyrs or victims of conflict, a letter of recommendation from the relevant local level or district administration office or the body designated by the Government of Nepal that they are children of martyrs or victims of conflict.
(b) Proof of disability in case of disabled (category of disability should be open)
(c) Evidence of Dalit caste in case of Dalits
(d) In case of free commory, proof of free commory
(e) proof of Muslim status in case of Muslim women
f) In case of economically disadvantaged, certificate issued/recommended by the Government of Nepal or an agency under it as an indigent household.
(Students who have been selected for the scholarship by the Commission and have received the first, second and third installments must fill out the form of the Higher Education Scholarship Management (First Amendment) Guideline, Schedule-5 of 2080 and submit the progress statement (profit letter) for receiving the remaining installments. Students who have previously received the scholarship must upload the following documents.

2. Progress Statement (Profit Statement)
3. No action will be taken on the application received after the specified last date or the copy of check book of the account holder's bank account (bank name, account number, bank address etc.) The commission will not provide double scholarship to any student for studies at the same level.
Again
1. The scholarship provided by NEHEP program under the economically disadvantaged or Dalit quota will be provided only during the project period.
2. For new applicants, children of martyrs and conflict victims and students with disabilities should be under 25 years of age for undergraduate and 30 years for postgraduate level at the time of application.
3. If the student who needs to renew the scholarship submits a new application, the application will not be accepted.
