Information regarding filling out application forms for scholarships in higher education

In accordance with the University Grants Commission Program Procedure 2082 and the Higher Education Scholarship Management Guidelines, 2080 (First Amendment), in order to increase access to higher education, it is hereby informed that interested students who have completed the minimum qualifications and are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate/postgraduate level in the financial year 2082/083 and are studying in accordance with the program to provide scholarships for higher education to disabled, economically disadvantaged, Dalit, Muslim women, children of martyrs and conflict victims and freed Kamlari students, are requested to submit the scholarship application form by clicking on Higher Education Scholarship on the Commission's website www.ugenepal.edu.np or by filling out the form online at ugc.pathway.com.np and uploading the following necessary documents and recommendation letters within the office hours of Chaitra 25, 2082. How do you access

(1) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,

(2) Receipt of admission to the relevant educational institution

(3) Schedule 2

(4) Transcript of class 12 or equivalent for undergraduate level and copy of transcript of undergraduate level for postgraduate level

(5) Copy of the checkbook of the bank account of the student holding the account (National Bank of Commerce, Nepal Bank Limited and Agricultural Development Bank)

(6) Certificate and recommendation letter according to category:

(a) Children of martyrs or conflict victims

(b) Disability (the category of disability should be open)

(d) Free Kamlari

(e) Muslim women

(c) Dalits

(f) Financially poor

Students who have been selected for a scholarship by the Commission and have received the first, second or third installment are advised to renew their scholarship to receive the remaining installment by uploading the following documents:

(1) Schedule-5

(2) Progress Statement (Profit Statement)

(a) In the case of students under the annual system of the Bachelor's degree, the admit card included in the first year examination for the second installment, the first year result for the third installment, and the second year result for the fourth installment.

(b) In the case of students under the undergraduate semester system, the second semester admission letter for the second installment, the second semester results for the third installment, and the fourth semester results for the fourth installment.

(c) In the case of Master's degree, the results of the first semester for the second installment

(3) Copy of the checkbook of the student's bank account holder

Note: (1) The age limit for the scholarship is 25 years for undergraduate level and 30 years for postgraduate level. The age limit will not apply to children of martyrs or conflict victims and students with disabilities.

(2) If students who received scholarships in the previous year submit a new application, that application will not be accepted.

(3) No action will be taken on applications received after the specified deadline or without the required documents attached.

(4) The Commission will not provide double scholarships to any student for studies at the same level.
