Notice regarding the program of the 51st Convocation Ceremony

This notice is published for the information of all the concerned students as the 51st Convocation Ceremony of Tribhuvan University will be held on Thursday, 10th Paush 2082 BS, corresponding to 25th Dec., 2025 at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor. Students participating in the ceremony should enter the ceremony venue by 10:00 AM wearing their gowns/scarves/caps and should be seated in the designated seats as per the Seating Arrangement. Students who have received Ph.D. and Convocation Medals/Awards should have their names on the designated seats in the front row. Other detailed programs related to this ceremony

1. Gown/Scarf Distribution:

A. Date: From Paush 1, 2082 BS to Paush 8, 2082 BS (including holidays).

B. Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

C. Location: Tribhuvan University Examination Controller's Office, Balkhu.

D. Documents to be brought: To participate in the convocation ceremony, you will have to bring the Gown Collection Card and Participation Form received while filling the online form.

E. Since gowns/scarves and hats will not be distributed from the ceremony venue on 9/9/2082 and on the day of the ceremony on 10/9/2082, it is mandatory to collect the gowns/scarves and hats by 8/9/2082.

2. Attire: The attire required for students attending the ceremony will be as follows:

A. Students should wear their preferred attire including coat, pants, tie, and a gown/scarf/hat provided by TRI.

B. Girls should wear formal attire or saree, blouse and gown/scarf/cap provided by TRI.

3. Certificate Distribution:

A. Certificate distribution will be done from the certificate distribution counter located at the Nepali Army Headquarters, north of Dasharath Stadium.

B. To obtain the certificate, you will need to bring the Certificate Collection Card received while filling out the online form.

C. Students who attended the convocation ceremony but were unable to collect their certificates on the day and who applied to participate but were unable to participate can later collect their certificates from the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Records and Certificates Division, Balkhu (Room No. 3), Tribhuvan University.

4. Gown/scarf/hat and deposit refund (including holidays)

A. Gowns/scarves and hats will have to be returned from Tribhuvan University, Balkhu from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from 13th Paush 2082 to mid-Paush.

B. The deposit amount of Rs. 1,200.- (Rs. 300.- will be deducted for maintenance) will be refunded through the bank account of the concerned student only after returning the gown/scarf/cap along with the Gown Return Card received while filling the online form. If the gown/scarf/cap is lost or any one of the three is lost or not returned, the deposit amount will not be refunded. In case of damage, Rs. 300.-, Rs. 400.- and Rs. 500.- will be deducted from the deposit amount for the scarf, cap and gown respectively.

C. Students who do not return their gowns/scarves/hats within the above date will have their deposit refunded after deducting the following late fees. Also, students who have filled out the form but have not worn their gowns/scarves/hats will be charged the same late fees as specified below to get their deposit back.

D. To get the deposit back, it is mandatory to submit the Gown Return Card received while filling the online form. Otherwise, the amount will not be refunded.
