Information regarding training and examination of non-life insurance agents

Considering the convenience of individuals and organizations interested in working as insurance agents of this company, basic training for non-life insurance agents is being conducted from 2083.02.11 through physical and virtual (Google Meet). Individuals and organizations who have attained the following educational qualifications are requested to contact the central office of this company in Kathmandu or the provincial offices or the nearest branch offices by 2083.02.8. This notice has been published for all concerned.

Educational Qualification for Insurance Agent: Minimum 12th (10+2) passed

Required documents for individual insurance agents:

Copies of educational qualification certificates and citizenship certificates (notarized)

4 copies of passport size photo

Personal details form with mandatory mention of permanent account number and mobile number

Required documents for institutional insurance agents:

Application from the concerned organization wishing to hire an institutional agent (photo and signature of the director)

Letter announcing the appointment and term of office of the director

Director's citizenship certificate and educational qualification (at least 12 (10+2) passed)

PAN registration, other registration certificates, company registrar's certificate, NRB Bank/Cooperative Division/Domestic/Commercial/Other registration certificates, articles of association, regulations, documents stating the purpose of the articles of association to act as an insurance agent and the term of office of the director mentioned in the regulations must be submitted.
