Notice inviting price list from technical schools offering 18-month Agriculture and Veterinary JTA under Small Farmers Scholarship

Small Farmers Development Microfinance Institution (SDBFI) is offering an annual scholarship to 25 eligible students from the families of its partner Small Farmers Agricultural Cooperatives for an 18-month Pre-Diploma (JTA) technical education in Agriculture and Veterinary. Therefore, interested educational institutions affiliated/approved by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) are invited to submit their proposals along with price lists to the email address [email protected] by 5 pm on 2082/04/15.

1. The school must clearly state the lump sum fee per student for the above-mentioned course. No additional fee will be claimed beyond that.

2. Since quotas will be provided provincially as follows, schools in that province will be allowed to submit price lists/proposals.

Note: The quota for the province where no proposal has been received will be added to schools in other provinces.

3. When selecting a school, factors such as quality of education, physical infrastructure, adequacy of instructors, past results, level of service, price, and past encouraging collaboration with this financial institution will be taken into account.

4. Along with the proposal including the price list in the prescribed format, a letter of affiliation/approval from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), tax clearance certificate, a brief introduction or profile of the institution, if possible a list of qualifications and experience of the teachers, a code of conduct for the students, a list of required documents, the method of payment, a letter of intent to collaborate with this financial institution and other details deemed necessary should be attached.

5. The price lists along with the proposals will be evaluated on 15/04/2082, or the next day if that day falls on a public holiday, with or without the presence of the proposers or their representatives, at the Small Farmers Development Microfinance Bank Ltd., Central Office, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

6. This financial institution reserves the right to accept, partially accept, reject, or cancel all proposals/price lists without assigning any reason.
