Registration for appearing in Secondary Education Examination Class-10 (SEE) 2083

Information regarding filling out the form

This notice has been published for the information of all concerned students, schools, local level education divisions/branches, education development and coordination units, and education development directorate for the purpose of filling the registration form for the regular Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of 2083 BS for students studying regularly in class 9 in the academic session 2082 BS.

1. For students currently studying in grade 9 in schools in general, traditional and technical streams:

a) Students of general, traditional and technical streams currently studying as regular students in class 9 must have passed the annual examination of class 8 or its equivalent in the alphabetic system. Also, in the case of alphabetic system 2079 BS, they must attach a grade sheet with a minimum D grade and a copy of the birth certificate (certified by the principal) and a recently taken passport size photograph in school uniform at the specified place and submit it to the school they are studying in between 2082 Kartik 19 and 2082 Mangsir 24 along with a fee of Rs. 300.-. The said fee should be deposited in revenue head No. 14223.

b) Schools should verify or have the names, surnames, dates of birth, and parents' names of students regularly studying in their schools, so that they do not change later, and submit the form, along with details of the revenue fee, to the concerned Education Development and Coordination Unit by mid-Mansir 2082.

c) Students of open and alternative schools and informal adult schools will have to fill out the registration form at the time of filling out the 2082 BS exam application form.

2. This form is for general, traditional and technical stream students to register their names for appearing in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2083.

Students who do not complete this form for registration purposes will not be allowed to appear in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for that year.

3. To be included in the 2083 Secondary Education Examination by filling out the registration form in 2082, you must have completed 14 years of age by mid-Chaitra 2083.

4. The Education Development and Coordination Units will process the online entry and verification of the required details of the registration form as per the following work schedule.

The Education Development and Coordination Unit will make school-specific details available to the P.N.K. to establish the registration number.

The Education Development and Coordination Unit will send the details including the registration number obtained from the P.N.K. to the concerned Education Development Directorate, concerned municipality and concerned school.

Until mid-February 2082

Note:

> When filling out the registration form, the student should fill it only from the school where he is studying regularly. If it is found to be filled from more than one school/district/location, the form on both sides will be automatically canceled. Do not fill out double registration and if you do not do so, the exam will be canceled later and the person/institution who does so will be responsible.

> The sample registration form has been placed on the website of the Office of the Controller of Examinations. The school should fill it in 2 copies per student. Registration No. will be established from the Office of the Controller of Examinations and a soft copy will be provided to the Education Development and Coordination Unit. The Education Development and Coordination Unit will provide the soft copy to the school and the student will write the registration No. on the form filled in and paste the photograph of the concerned student and get it certified by the Principal and the Head of the Unit and one copy will be kept in the school and one copy will be provided to the student.

> Schools should download and use the registration form from the National Examination Board website www.neb.gov.np, the Office of the Controller of Examinations Class 10 website www.see.gov.np, or the website of the concerned Directorate of Education Development.

Corrected: In the notice published on 2082.0716 regarding filling of application form, point no. 12, it is mentioned that open, alternative and informal adult schools should fill it along with registration and application. However, for the special reason that the registration form was filled only in 2082 for students studying in grade 9 in the academic session 2081 and at the same time, students of open and alternative schools had also filled the registration form, it is hereby informed that only open and alternative students can fill the application form as per the notice dated 2082.07116.
