Notice regarding student admission to Anesthesia Assistant Course

This notice has been published by the National Academy of Medical Sciences for the admission of students to conduct a one-year Anesthesia Assistant Course in the academic year 2083/2084. Nepali citizens who have passed Health Assistant or Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing from a recognized educational institution should deposit Rs. 2,000.- (Nearly two thousand rupees) in the current account of this institute at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Bhotahiti Branch, Kathmandu and submit the original voucher. After submitting the original voucher, the form along with all the documents mentioned in the entrance examination form to be distributed from the office of the Dean of the National Academy of Medical Sciences from 2082.12.1 and submit it to the Dean's Office, Chi.V.R.A.P. Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha within the office hours on 2082.12.30. If that day falls on a holiday, the form should be submitted within the office hours on the first day after the holiday.

The admit card will be distributed on 7th and 8th January 2083. The date, time and venue of the entrance examination will be mentioned in the admit card itself. All concerned are also informed to contact the Dean's office if any further details are required.

News Note: If for any reason the seats of the Government of Nepal, Sponsor, and institutional candidates remain vacant, admission will be taken from the open competitors in the order of merit list of successful candidates.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to work in the Provincial Government, Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province must attach a prior approval letter from the Ministry of Health of Gandaki Province.

In the case of a Nick Simon Institute Sponsor seat, a nomination letter from the same organization must be attached.

In the case of institutional applicants, a letter of sponsorship from the relevant institution must also be submitted.

In terms of age, the age of the candidates applying will be as per the prevailing rules as on the last date of application.

Applicant candidates will have to submit a copy of their registration certificate with the Nepal Health Professional Council/Nepal Nursing Council as well as a certificate of at least 2 years of work experience in a health institution recognized by the Government of Nepal after the registration certificate.

Successful candidates from the provincial government, Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province, sponsors, institutional and open candidates will have to pay the fee prescribed by the C.V.R. Foundation.
