Budhanilkantha School and Partnership Program
Notice regarding scholarship examination.
A detailed notice has been published for the selection of meritorious children from underprivileged communities for free or subsidized residential studies from grade 5 onwards at Budhanilkantha School, Kathmandu and schools participating in the partnership program under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
1. Selection Criteria: Students born between 2072/01/01 and 2073/12/31, who have studied regularly in at least Grade 3 and Grade 4 in a community school in the district where their parents reside or in a neighboring district, and who have completed Grade 4 in the academic session 2081, will be selected through an interview based on the merit list of the results of the written competitive examination, with representation from the geographical area and target community.
2. Date and time for submitting the form is Friday, Chaitra 27, 2082, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and
Saturday, March 28, 2082, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
The application form should be downloaded from bnks.edu.np or cehrd.gov.np or moest.gov.np, filled in properly, recommended and certified as specified in the application form, and submitted along with the necessary documents to the examination center designated for your district.
6. Application forms can also be obtained from the education office of the local body.
3. Written exam date and time: Saturday, Chaitra 28, 2082, at 11:00 AM.
4. Curriculum: Based on the learning competencies expected by the Grade 4 curriculum, a total of 100 full-mark question papers will be prepared based on the subject areas of Social Studies, Mathematics, Nepali, Science and English, with 08/08 marks for objective and 12/12 marks for subject.
The exam duration will be 2 hours. The passing score will be 35.
5. Number of open and reserved seats for Budhanilkantha School: 42 (50% will be female)
(a) Forty students will be selected, not more than one from each district, for both open and reserved categories.
(b) Reservation seats are endangered 2. Dalit 4. Muslim 1. Madhesi 4, Janajati 52 and backward areas-2
(c) 2 people (one male and one female) from Budhanilkantha Municipality, the local level where the school is located.
6. A total of 77 students will be selected for the partnership schools under the partnership program, without repeating the district, as long as there are available. This includes reservations (Dalit-5. Muslim-2. Madhesi-6, Janajati-9. Martyrs and conflict victims' families and those who died due to foreign employment).
(1 from a family and at least 26 students).

9. Documents to be submitted with the application:
(1) The following documents must be submitted along with the prescribed application form:
(a) Application form duly filled in with the requested details and certified by the designated person (relevant principal and local level head of education),
(b) Recommendation letter of poverty issued by the local level stating the monthly income of the parents and guardians,
(c) Student's birth certificate issued by the local registrar,
(d) Letter from the local level disclosing the relationship between the parents and the student,
(e) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate of the parent/guardian,
Explanation: Parent refers to a grandparent, grandmother, father, mother, brother, or sister.
(f) If the student studied in different schools in Grade 324, a recommendation from the principal of the school where the student studied in Grade 3, including the student's EMIS No.,
(g) Persons from the following groups who wish to be candidates for reserved seats should submit their application along with a recommendation letter from the following bodies: a) In the case of tribals, from the National Foundation for the Upliftment of Indigenous/Tribal People or the concerned District Administration Office
a) In the case of Dalits, from the National Dalit Commission or the concerned District Administration Office
e) In the case of Madhesi community, from the Madhesi Commission or the concerned District Administration Office
e) In the case of Muslim community, from the Muslim Commission or the concerned District Administration Office.
A) In the case of disappeared persons or families of martyrs and injured persons or their descendants (sons and daughters), from the Ministry of Home Affairs or the concerned District Administration Office.
(h) In the case of backward and remote areas, it has been clarified by the concerned local level that the student has been permanently residing in the same place and has studied in grade 3 and 4 community schools.
(2) The concerned parent shall submit the application form and necessary documents to the examination conducting team on the specified days at the designated examination center.
Documents will need to be submitted.
10. Things to keep in mind while filling the application form:
(1) A form not duly filled in will automatically be cancelled.
(2) Examinations will not be conducted at any center other than the designated centers in the district. District means the district in which the student is studying in grade 4.
(3) If one child of the concerned parent is studying at Budhanilkantha School, the scholarship for Budhanilkantha School will not be provided to his/her other child.
(4) Guardians with a monthly income of Rs. 50,000.- (fifty thousand) or more or Deputy Secretary to the Government of Nepal or equivalent and above
Children of employees working in the position will not be able to participate in the scholarship selection exam.
(5) Children of Government of Nepal Gazetted Class III or equivalent civil servants, teachers and employees (including institutions) will be given 50 percent concession in monthly fee if selected on all grounds. Children of non-gazetted civil servants or equivalent and below civil servants, teachers and employees (including institutions) will be given 70 percent concession in monthly fee.

Regarding updating basic details for programs and budgets.

It is known that the work of collecting basic details for the annual program and budget has been going on since last year. In this context, as the preparation of the annual program and budget for the fiscal year 2083/084 has begun, it is requested that all the details as per the details be entered and sent by 2082/11/26 by logging in to the Integrated Educational Management Information System-IEMIS of the concerned local level and going to the Form School Form of the Local Level menu.
It is also requested that the local level itself be held responsible if there is any difference in the amount released to the local level due to the school not filling in the details required to be filled in the IEMIS and the local level not filling in the details required to be filled.
Details:
1. Log in to the Integrated Educational Management Information System (IEMIS) web page (https://emis.cehrd.gov.np) using your local level username and password.
2. After clicking on the Local Level menu on the Dashboard, click on the form that appears and fill in the details mentioned there without any changes and submit,
3. After submitting the form, print the details, verify them, and send a scanned copy to [email protected] and a hard copy.

4. After clicking on the Local Level menu on the Dashboard, click on the School Form that appears,
5. Then a list of schools will appear. Click on the Action button to the right of the school name, fill in the details mentioned there without any changes and save,
6. After filling the School Form of all schools, print the details and verify them by exporting them from the Export button and send the scanned copy to [email protected] and the hard copy to the Educational Information Management Branch of this center. Provide necessary coordination and facilitation in the work of entering or transmitting the details.
