Notice for MPhil Leading to PhD Admission- 2025

Mid-West University (MU), Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences invites applications for the admissions to MPhil Leading to PhD in Sociology/Anthropology, Rural Development, International Relations and Diplomacy, Economics, English, Conflict and Peace Studies, Nepali, Social Work, Journalism and Mass Communication, International Cooperation and Development. Candidates meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for the MPhil Leading to PhD program:

Master's degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university,

Minimum grade 2.5 on a 4-point scale or equivalent grade, or at least second division marks,

Relevant work experience (two years for second division holders, one year for first division holders, and no experience is required for distinction holders).

Candidates seeking admission to the aforementioned programs should download the application form the official website of the dean office. Submit completed application to the Office of the Dean either in physical or by email, attaching journal articles, and bank voucher of Rs. 3,000 as the application fees to the form.
