Notification regarding Scholarship Entrance Test

To study in grade 4 under scholarship facility at Gandaki Boarding School for the academic session 2083

For the information of all concerned, the entrance examination for interested students will be held as per the schedule.

1. The student must be studying in grade 3, have an updated IEMIS number, and be under 10 years of age by mid-Chaitra 2082.

2. Along with the application form, a letter of recommendation including 2 copies of photographs, marksheet/gradesheet, photocopy of birth certificate, and a document from the concerned ward office showing monthly/annual income must be submitted.

3. The entrance examination will be conducted in Nepali, Mathematics, and English based on the Grade 3 curriculum prescribed by the Government of Nepal.

4. The scholarship entrance exam will be conducted at the following centers on Saturday, Magh 3, 2082. Application forms will be distributed from the respective centers from 8:00 AM on the same day and the written exam will be conducted from 11:00 AM.

5. Partial scholarships also fall under the scholarship category. Parents/students receiving partial scholarships (75%, 66.6%, 50%, 33.3%, 25%) will have to pay the remaining fees based on their source of income and income generation.

7. Eligible students can participate in any of the above-mentioned examination centers of their choice.

8. This scholarship facility will be provided only to the poor and meritorious students or those who meet the criteria set by the school. If the details submitted are found to be false, the scholarship will be cancelled at any time. All rights related to the scholarship will remain reserved by the school.

9. Parents who are permanent residents of Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 16 and 19 areas and are interested in taking the entrance exam for local scholarships must submit an original document from the concerned ward office certifying that they are permanent residents of that area along with the application form.

Note: Application forms for students interested in studying in Grade 4 by paying full fees and for residential students in Grade 6 will be distributed from 18th Falgun 2082.
