Information regarding entrance examination for admission to undergraduate level B.E. (Civil, Computer) and B. Architecture programs.

Applications are invited online from interested students who wish to enroll in the School of Engineering and affiliated colleges under the Faculty of Engineering of Sudurpaschim University. An entrance examination will be conducted for the admission of new students to undergraduate programs in the academic session 2082/083 for the scholarship quota to be provided.

2) Minimum qualifications for application

Students who have obtained at least 45% of the total marks in the National Examination Board Secondary Level or Engineering Diploma or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized educational institution and have obtained CGPA/GPA 2 (In Scale of 4) in the Letter Grading System. Students who have obtained at least 45% in each subject of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least C grade in each subject if they are in the Letter Grading System or at least D grade in the above subjects if they are in the A Level, and in the case of other subjects, even if they do not have a minimum C grade (or a minimum D grade in the above subjects if they are in the A Level), students who have passed the entrance examination will be allowed to participate in the entrance examination by applying duly. Students who have appeared in the final examination of class 12 or its equivalent or have appeared in the sixth semester examination of the Engineering Diploma

They will be able to participate in the entrance examination by submitting a formal application.

3) Method of filling the application form and required documents

3.1 For student admission to the School of Engineering Mahendranagar and scholarship quotas provided in affiliated colleges, applicants must log in to Engineering Admission Open on the website of Sudurpaschim University or the Faculty of Engineering at www.fwu.edu.np or www.facultyengineering.fwu.edu.np, fill out the application form and submit it through the same website.

3.2 The online form will be available on the website from 2082/04/16 to 2082/05/13. The form must be submitted within the specified period.

3.3 Documents to be uploaded when filling out the online form

While filling the form, the applicant will have to upload his/her personal details (parents' names, phone number, permanent address) and a photo ID issued by the Government of Nepal, such as a Nepali citizenship certificate/national identity card.

A recent passport-sized color photo with a plain background showing the full forehead must be uploaded.

Scanned copies of SEE or equivalent and NEB or equivalent educational certificates must be uploaded.

Candidates applying for inclusive scholarships at schools and affiliated campuses must submit the necessary documents certified by the relevant group.

5. Admit card distribution

The admit cards will be distributed on the day of the entrance exam at the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Students must bring their Nepali citizenship certificate/national identity card when collecting the admit card.

(Classes at the School of Engineering Mahendranagar Kanchanpur will be conducted during the day shift.)

6. The application form for admission to affiliated colleges, other than scholarships provided by Sudurpaschim University, has been opened as follows, with the concerned colleges managing the entrance examination form.

Entrance exam fee: Rs. 2500.-(Aksharupi two thousand five hundred only)
