Notice regarding the call for applications for furniture training!

The Forest for Prosperity Project is a project implemented by the Government of Nepal, the Government of Lumbini Province, the Government of Madhesh Province and 50 local levels of Lumbini and Madhesh Province with the financial support of the World Bank since Chaitra 2078. The objective of this project is to improve sustainable forest management, increase benefits from forests and contribute to reducing net greenhouse gas emissions within selected local levels under Lumbini and Madhesh provinces. The project facilitates business development services and credit services from Krishi Bikas Bank Limited for the development and upgrading of small and medium forest enterprises through sustainable forest management. Provincial Project Management Unit of the project, Directorate of Forests, Butwal has selected DYNAMISM IN SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT (DIDS) Dhangadhi, Kailali as the training service provider and given the responsibility for conducting skill development training related to furniture manufacturing business.

In this context, DIDS Dhangadhi, Kailali has conducted Assistant Furniture Maker Training (390 hours), Modular Furniture Fitter Training (180 hours) and Furniture Finishing and Polishing Training (40 hours) in East Rukum, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Dang, Banke, Bardia, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Arghakhanchi, Palpa, Gulmi and Nawalparasi Bardghat Susta West districts of Lumbini Province. Hours) Applications are invited from those who are willing to participate in skill development trainings and those who are working in the furniture industry.
