Regarding the implementation of the decision.

In the context of the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 2082.12.22 to start the academic session of 2083 BS from 15th of Baisakh as per the letter of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology dated 2082.12.25 and the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 2082.12.23 to give 2 days of public holidays on Saturday and Sunday in government offices and all educational institutions from 2082.12.23, we have written to all schools to provide necessary coordination and facilitation for the preparation and implementation of educational programs according to the changed academic session and public holidays. In this regard, we request you to conduct/have the activities as per the schedule from 2083 BS Baisakh 2 before the commencement of the academic session as per the decision of this center dated 2082/12/26. Schools and local levels are requested to do/have the necessary promotional and creative work.

3. Creating and updating school improvement plans,

4. Conducting activities to develop teachers' professional skills,

All community schools are urged to update the details of the physical condition of the school!

On 15/04/2082, this center sent a letter to schools to update the physical condition of all community schools in the Integrated Educational Management Information System (IEMIS) for the preparation of the school's physical infrastructure master plan, and most of the schools have updated the details. Since updated physical details of schools are required for the preparation and updating of the school's physical infrastructure master plan in the coming days, schools that have yet to fill in the details and if there is a need to correct or add to the physical details, schools are requested to update them by 7th April 2083 as per the decision.

Note: A letter with Schedule-1 for schools whose physical details are yet to be filled and Schedule-2 for schools whose details have been filled and need to be updated is available at www.cehrd.gov.np.

Notice regarding the implementation of decisions by all schools and local levels!

Shri Local Level 753 (All),

As per the letter received from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ch. No. 329 dated 18.12.2082, the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, approved by the meeting of 13 Chaitra 2082, and approved by the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (Honorable Ministerial Level) dated 13 Chaitra 2082, as per the need for implementation of the contents mentioned in the 100 agenda related to governance reform, along with an action plan, is requested to prepare and monitor the implementation of the detailed contents related to the contents mentioned in the agenda, and update it in IEMIS and send the progress of that work to this center every month.

Details:

1. Details of schools merged and newly established based on changing population patterns, geographical remoteness, number of students, distance, etc., through scientific mapping using Geographic Information System (GIS).

2. School-wise student details to be provided with scholarships compulsorily to students in the ratio prescribed by the Act in private funded schools and schools operated under public educational trusts as per the Compulsory and Free Education Act, 2075 BS. In this regard, a letter has also been sent to this center on 25/7/2082, Ch. No. 155, to send the details of students receiving scholarships.

3. For children who have not been able to obtain birth certificates for various reasons, arrangements will be made to enroll them in schools based on details certified by the local level, and details of students enrolled in such a way.

Notice regarding textbook sales and distribution

As per the decision of the Government of Nepal, the printing of 17.5 million textbooks (including those translated into English) for the school level, Grade 3 and Grade 5 to 10, to be printed by this center for the academic session 2083, has been completed and sent to the provincial offices for sale and distribution.

Textbook sales and distribution have been opened for all 77 districts from 9 offices, including the central and regional offices, as scheduled from 16/12/2082.

We request that registered vendors from centers across the country promptly pick up textbooks and deliver them to the respective schools before the start of the academic session.

For the last academic session 2002, it was decided that the textbooks for grades 3 and 5 to 12 would be printed and distributed by the Janak Shiksha Samagi Kendra on a government basis. The same decision has been made for the academic session 2083. Last year, textbooks for grades 3 and 5 were printed and distributed in large numbers by the private sector, leaving the center's textbooks in stock. Therefore, this year, we request that the vendors, in compliance with the government decision, must collect the textbooks for grades 3 and 5 to 10 in sets and deliver them to the schools.

If you receive any complaints that textbooks have not reached schools or students have not received them, we request you to contact this center and regional offices immediately.

We ensure that textbooks for grades 11 and 12 are also being printed based on the number of students, so they will be available on time.
