Under Budhanilkanth School and Partnership Program
Notification regarding scholarship examination
Under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Budhanilkanth School, Kathmandu and schools participating in the partnership program have been published as per the details for the selection of scholarship from the poor children of poor communities for free or subsidized study from class 5 onwards.
1. Basis of Selection Vs. Students born from 2071/01/01 to 2072/12/30 and at least Class 3 and Class 4 in public schools in the district where their parents live or in neighboring districts and who have completed Class 4 studies in the academic session 2081 will be selected based on the merit order of the results of the written competitive examination in order to represent the geographical area and the target community.
2. Form submission date and time:
Tuesday 26th Chait 2081, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and
Wednesday 27th Chait 2081, 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Download the application form from bnks.edu.np or cehrd.gov.np or moest.gov.np and fill it properly as prescribed in the application form.
Recommendations and verification should be submitted along with necessary documents to the examination center designated for your district.
3. Date and Time of Written Exam 2081 Chait 27th Wednesday, 11:00 AM.
4. Syllabus: Subjects taught in Class 4 are Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Education/General Knowledge 40% Objective and 60% Subjective.
5. The number of open and reserved seats for Budhanilkanth School is 42 (50% female students).
(a) 40 students will be selected not more than one from each district through open and reservation.
(c) 2 people (one male and one female) from Budhanilkanth municipality where the school is located.
b) Reservation Seats: Endangered 2, Dalit 4, Muslim 1, Madhesi 4, Tribal-5 and Backward Area-2.
6. A total of 77 students will be selected for the sake of partnership schools under the partnership program without repeating the district. Reservation in this (Dalit- 5, Muslim 2, Madhesi 6, tribal 9. Children of martyrs and conflict-affected families and 1 from families who died during foreign employment and at least 26 female students).

9. Documents to be submitted along with the application:
(1) The following documents should be submitted along with the prescribed application form:
(a) Attested by the specified persons (concerned Headmaster and Head of Education at the local level) filling out the requested details.

(b) Recommendation letter of destitution given by the local level including the monthly income of parents/guardians,
(c) Birth certificate of the student issued by the local registrar,
(d) A letter from the local level revealing the relationship with parents and students,
(e) Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate of parent/guardian,
Explanation: Parent means grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, brother or sister.
(e) Updated details of the student in IEMIS including class, school code, student ID for the previous 2 academic sessions, verified by the respective schools.
(f) Persons belonging to the following groups who wish to be candidates for the reserved position along with the application and recommendation letter from the following body:
a) In case of tribals, from the National Foundation for Tribal/Tribal Upliftment or the concerned District Administration Office,
b) In case of Dalits, from the National Dalit Commission or the concerned District Administration Office,
e) In case of Madhesi community, from the Madhesi Commission or the relevant district administration office,
e) In the case of the Muslim community, from the Muslim Commission or the concerned District Administration Office,
f) In the case of missing person or family of martyrs and injured or their offspring (sons and daughters), from the Ministry of Home Affairs or the relevant district administration office,
o) In the case of backward remote areas, it has been disclosed from the relevant local level that he has permanent residence in the same place and that the student has studied in Class 3 and 4 public schools.
(2) Application form and necessary by the concerned parents to the examination conducting team on the day fixed for the examination at the designated examination center
Documents have to be submitted.
10. Things to note while filling the application form:
(1) Forms that are not duly filled will automatically be cancelled.
(2) Examinations shall not be given from centers other than those designated for the district. District means the community where the student is studying in class 4
The district where the school is located should be mentioned.
(3) If one child of the concerned parent is studying in Budhanilkanth School, his other child in case of Budhanilkanth School.
Scholarship will not be awarded.
(4) Monthly Rs. 50,000.- (Fifty thousand) or more parents or Deputy Secretary of the Government of Nepal or equivalent and above
Sons and daughters of employees working in the post cannot participate in the scholarship selection test.
