Notice regarding listing of cooperative organizations for purchasing rice at minimum support price

This notice has been published to inform the cooperative organizations interested in purchasing rice in Bara and Parsa districts under the jurisdiction of the National Agricultural Modernization Program, Program Implementation Unit, Bara, as per the “Guidelines for Purchasing and Managing Rice at Minimum Support Price-2077”, to register with the Program Implementation Unit, Bara, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the notice, i.e. by 2082/05/18, during office hours, along with the documents and details as specified.
Documents and details to be submitted during registration:
1. Request to register and get a list of Rs. 10.- with a stamp attached.
2. Copy of the Cooperative Organization Registration Certificate and copy of the organization's Permanent Account Number Registration Certificate.
3. Copy of tax payment certificate and audit report for FY 2080/081, / 2081/82.
4. Decision appointing an official person to carry out the preamble-related work and a copy of his/her Nepali citizenship certificate.
5. Recommendation letter from the relevant local level.
6. Preamble with the following details regarding paddy procurement
Name and Address of Co-operative Societies,
Share capital of co-operative societies
Turnover of a cooperative organization and scope of work of a cooperative organization
Quantity and type of rice you wish to purchase
Details of interested areas, including local levels and wards, that wish to purchase rice.
Arrangement of funds required for the purchase of rice and its source
Details regarding storage and management of purchased rice
Details related to rice procurement, transportation, storage, processing and market management and details related to management of necessary means, equipment and manpower for the same.
Other details required for purchasing and selling rice
Note: The office will provide the cooperative organization with a subsidy amount based on the quantity of paddy purchased at the rate of Rs. 112 per quintal (one hundred bahu only) for the management of expenses including storage, security and packaging of paddy.
