Notice issued to data center and cloud service providers to be listed

"Data Center and Cloud Service (Operation and Management) Directory, 2081" has been issued on January 15, 2081 to encourage the safe and confidential storage of data created by the government, public and private sector through the use of information technology and to list the data center and cloud service providers and manage the information technology system in a reliable, safe and efficient manner.

According to section 3 of this guide, data center and cloud service providers must be registered with the department before providing services. In addition, there is a provision that data center operators who are in operation at the time of the initiation of this directive must attach documents as per sub-section (2) of section 3 and cloud service operators as per sub-section (3) of the same section and submit an application to be listed in the department with documents related to sub-section (2) or (3) within six months of the initiation of this guideline. Therefore, this notice has been issued for data centers and cloud service providers to submit an application to this department along with the prescribed documents to be listed as specified in section 3 of the said directive.
