Notice of promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation

For the following posts of Non-Gazetted Second Class Purchaser or similar service/group posts to be filled by promotion through seniority and performance evaluation, as per Section 24G1A of the Civil Service Act, 2049 (Fourth Amendment) and Sub-section 4 of Section 14 of the Employees Adjustment Act, 2075, prospective candidates are hereby informed to submit their applications to the Secretariat of the concerned Promotion Committee by 2083/01/01, specifying the details mentioned in the application form prescribed by the Public Service Commission. No action will be taken on applications received after the deadline. The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Public Service Commission www.psc.gov.np

Things candidates should consider when applying

(a) Candidates who are attached to a non-graded post or a non-gazetted fifth grade post as per Section 24D1A (2) (c) of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS shall be given a grade (B)

The total service period must be at least 20 years, including the period of service in an unfilled position.

) Must have acquired educational qualifications as per (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 24D1A of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS. (c) Must not be disqualified from being a potential candidate for promotion as per Section 22 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS.

(d) While calculating the marks for performance evaluation of potential candidates as per Sub-section (3) of Section 24 of the Civil Service Act, 2049, the marks obtained up to mid-Ashar shall be

When calculating the score and other points, the points obtained up to the last date for submission of applications specified at the time of publication of the advertisement will be counted.

(e) The calculation of previous service period shall be as per Rule 123 of the Civil Service Regulations, 2050. For this, the service period must be certified.

(f) While filling the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the National Bookstore (Civil Service).

(g) In the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted.

(h) The details as mentioned in all the sections of the application form must be clearly stated. (i) The application fee of Rs. 500.- (five hundred) must be paid.
