Notice of promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation

For the following gazetted technical posts of Class III to be filled through promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation, prospective candidates are hereby notified to apply by 2082/9/1, specifying the details mentioned in the application form prescribed by the Public Service Commission, in accordance with Section 24G1A of the Civil Service Act, 2049 (Fourth Amendment) and Sub-section 4 of Section 14 of the Employees Adjustment Act, 2075.

The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Public Service Commission www.psc.gov.np The concerned candidate should fill in one copy of the application form clearly and submit it to the Secretariat of the Promotion Committee at the Application Management Center, Anamnagar in the case of Kathmandu Valley and at the Commission offices outside the Kathmandu Valley by the last date for submission of the application. No action will be taken on the applications received after the deadline. The Commission offices should send the applications received in this way to the Application Management Center, Anamnagar. The Application Management Center will arrange to send the received application forms in bulk to the Secretariat of the concerned Promotion Committee according to the promotion notification number.

Things candidates should consider when applying

(a) Must not be disqualified from being a potential candidate for promotion as per Section 22 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS. (b) Must possess the educational qualifications as prescribed for a post one grade below the grade of the post to be promoted as per Section 21 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS and

The minimum service period must have been completed.

(c) While filling the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the National Bookstore (Civil Service).

(d) In the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence determination, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted.

(e) A period of service of one month or more in a subject related to the relevant service, group or subgroup in a post one grade below the post to be promoted along with the application.

A copy of the training certificate must be submitted.

(f) The details as mentioned in all the sections of the application form should be clearly stated. While filling the application form, the last five years' salary slips to be counted for the evaluation, the name of the office where the form was submitted, the period of study leave and training taken in the current category, if any, and the details of the layoffs, if any, should be stated on a separate sheet.

(g) An application fee of Rs.1200.- (one thousand two hundred) will have to be paid.

For the following posts to be filled through adjustment based on performance and experience evaluation, prospective candidates are requested to apply by 2082/9/1, specifying the details mentioned in the application form prescribed by the Public Service Commission, in accordance with Section 8(1) of the Health Services Act, 2053 (Fourth Amendment) and Sub-section (4) of Section 14 of the Employees Adjustment Act, 2075 BS.

The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Public Service Commission www.psc.gov.np The concerned candidate should fill in one copy of the application form clearly and submit it to the Application Management Center, Anamnagar in the case of Kathmandu Valley and to the Commission offices in the case of outside the Kathmandu Valley by the last date for submission of the application. Things candidates should consider when applying

(b) Along with the application, a letter of promotion and a letter of appointment to a lower level must be submitted as per Section 9 of the Health Services Act, 2053.

(c) While filling the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the Civil Service Library.

(d) In the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence determination, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted.

(e) The details mentioned in all the sections of the application form must be clearly stated.

(f) An application fee of Rs.1200.- (one thousand two hundred) will have to be paid.
