Notice of promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation

For the posts of Non-Gazetted First Class Naib Subba or similar posts in the following services/groups/sub-groups to be filled by promotion on the basis of seniority and performance evaluation, as per Section 24G1A of the Civil Service Act, 2049 (Fourth Amendment) and Sub-section 4 of Section 14 of the Employees Adjustment Act, 2075, prospective candidates are hereby informed to submit their applications to the Secretariat of the concerned Promotion Committee by 2082/11/5, specifying the details mentioned in the application form prescribed by the Public Service Commission. No action will be taken on applications received after the deadline. The application form can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission website www.psc.gov.np Matters to be considered by the candidates while submitting their applications

(a) As per Section 21 of the Civil Service Act, 2049, a candidate for promotion must have completed the minimum period of service required and must have attained at least S.L.C. or equivalent educational qualification in the subject related to the concerned service, group or subgroup.

(b) Must not be disqualified from being a potential candidate for promotion as per Section 22 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS.

(d) In calculating the marks for performance evaluation of potential candidates pursuant to Sub-section 3 of Section 24 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS, the marks shall be calculated as of mid-Ashar and

c) In the case of candidates as per Rule 76 and Rule 88 of the Civil Service Regulations, 2050, the qualifications as mentioned in those rules must be fulfilled.

When calculating other points, the points obtained up to the application deadline specified at the time of publication of the advertisement will be counted.

(e) While filling the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the Civil Service Library.

(f) In the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence determination, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted.

(g) The details mentioned in all the sections of the application form must be clearly stated.

(h) Application fee of Rs.700.- (seven hundred) will have to be paid. The secretariats of the concerned promotion committees are requested to collect the promotion application forms based on this information and proceed with the promotion related action.
