The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Provincial Public Service Commission www.ppsc.lumbini.gov.np. The concerned candidate should fill in one copy of the application form clearly and submit it to the office of the Commission before the last date for submission of applications. The applications received will be sent to the secretariat of the concerned promotion committee in bulk according to the promotion notification number. It is hereby informed that no action will be taken on the applications received after the deadline.

Things to keep in mind when applying for a position:

1. Must not be disqualified from being a candidate for promotion as per Section 32 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 and Section 34 of the Local Civil Service Act, 2081.

2. Seniority will be calculated in accordance with Section 36 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 and Section 44 of the Local Civil Service Act, 2081.

3. For promotion, the qualifications as per Section 39 of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 (2001) must be met and not included in the negative list as per Section 101, and the qualifications as per Section 47 of the Local Civil Service Act, 2081 (2001) must be met.

4. While filling the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the National Bookstore (Civil Service).

5. In case of educational qualification for which equivalence is to be determined, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted. 6. The details as mentioned in all the sections of the application form must be clearly stated. The latest result to be counted for evaluation while filling the application form

Name of the office that submitted the five-year performance evaluation, study leave and training taken in the current rank/level, if any, the period, and the date of termination

If so, details of that will also have to be submitted.

7. In the case of promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation, Section 39(1) (c) of the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 and the Local Civil Service Act, 2081 shall apply.

A certificate of training as per Section 47 (1) (c) must be submitted.

8. Other provisions related to promotion are as per the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 and Provincial Civil Service Regulations, 2080 and Local Civil Service Act, 2081 and Local
