Notice of promotion through performance evaluation of the posts of Provincial Civil Service Officer, 11th level

For the following posts to be filled through promotion through performance evaluation, as per Section 36 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079, prospective candidates are hereby notified to submit their applications by 2083/03/02, specifying the details mentioned in the application form prescribed by the Provincial Public Service Commission. Seniority will be calculated as per Section 38 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 and Rule 65 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Regulations, 2079. The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Provincial Public Service Commission ppsc.gandaki.gov.np. The concerned candidate should fill one copy of the application form clearly and submit it to the office of the Commission by the last date for submission of applications. No action will be taken on applications received after the deadline.

Things to consider when applying for a position

1. Should not be ineligible for promotion as per Section 19 and Section 33 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 (for this, a document certified by the head of the concerned office should be submitted).

2. When filling out the application form, it is mandatory to mention the reference number received from the Civil Service Library or Provincial Library.

3. In the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence, a certified copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted.

4. All the details mentioned in the application form should be clearly stated. While filling the application form, the name of the office that submitted the performance evaluation for the last five years to be counted for the evaluation, the period of study leave and training taken in the current rank/level, if any, and details of the 4 years of Gayalkatti, and a letter of adjustment to Gandaki Province should be submitted.

5. The basis for promotion based on performance will be as per Section 36 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 BS.

6. The minimum service period and educational qualification for promotion should be as per Section 32, Section 38 (4) of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 BS and Rules 57, 58 and 65 of the Gandaki Province Civil Service Regulations, 2079 BS.

7. Other provisions regarding promotion will be as per the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079 BS and the Gandaki Province Civil Service Regulations, 2079 BS.
