Notice regarding filling positions through open and internal competitions

As per the agreement of the Public Service Commission, the following vacant posts in this laboratory are to be filled up through an open and inclusive and internal competitive examination, with the written examination to be conducted by the Commission. Therefore, interested candidates who have met the eligibility criteria are invited to submit their duly certified copies of their Nepali citizenship and educational qualification certificates within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of publication of this notice and an additional 7 (seven) days after paying double the fee. The application form can be downloaded from the laboratory's website www.forensic.gov.np. The prescribed examination fee for the concerned post/level should be deposited in the National Forensic Science Laboratory's account no. 0211801246057019 from the Agricultural Development Bank, Satdobato, Lalitpur or any banking office of that bank and the original voucher should be submitted along with the application. It is also informed that no action will be taken against the applications received after the due date and without due date.

If the last day to submit the application (excluding double fees) falls on a public holiday, the next day the office is open.

The period of double duty will not be counted for the purposes of age, educational qualifications, training, experience and length of service.

The written examination schedule will be published on the laboratory's website and Gorkhapatra after it is received from the commission.

Special information for candidates applying for inclusion group advertisements

1. In the case of indigenous/tribal people: In the case of a caste listed in the Nepal Indigenous/Tribal Peoples Upliftment National Foundation Act, on the basis of the same list, but if there is more than one surname within a caste listed in the Nepal Indigenous/Tribal Peoples Upliftment National Foundation Act, a document certified by the Chief District Officer as a surname within the listed caste on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.

2. In the case of Madhesi: A document certified as Madhesi by an organization as specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notification in the Nepal Gazette, but until such time as the organization is specified by publishing a notification in the Nepal Gazette

Document certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.

3. In the case of Dalits: In the case of a caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, based on the same list, but if there is more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a document certified by the Chief District Officer as a surname within the listed caste on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.
