Notice regarding recruitment through open competitive examination

In accordance with the agreement received from the Public Service Commission as per the annual work schedule for the year 2082/83 regarding the approved posts, applications are invited from interested Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the mentioned qualifications for the permanent posts vacant in the following posts in the open and inclusive groups through competitive examination. The application form can be downloaded from the website of the Institute www.gorkhapatra.org.np, printed on A4 size paper, pasted 3 copies of a recent passport size photograph, and submitted to the Gorkhapatra Institute, Central Office, Dharmapath, Kathmandu, filling in all the details. This notice is published to submit the application. No action will be taken on the applications received after the deadline. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Special notice regarding advertising

The Hon'ble Supreme Court has issued a writ petition dated 24/10/2079 in the matter of remand including Writ No. 078-WO-0660.

The positions will be filled accordingly after the legal arrangements are made.

1. Type of examination: Written and interview (including practical if applicable)

2. Place of Application: Gorkhapatra Institute Central Office, Dharmapath, Kathmandu

3. Application Fee: Rs. 1,500 for Level-9, Rs. 1,000 for Level-6, Rs. 700 for Level-4, Rs. 600 for Level-3, Rs. 500/- for Level-2 and Rs. 400 for Level-3. Candidates submitting additional applications in inclusive groups will have to pay additional fees of Rs. 400 for Level-6, Rs. 300 for Level-5 and Level-4, Rs. 200 for Level-3 and Level-2 for each inclusive group. The application fee should be deposited clearly mentioning the name of the candidate in the account number of this institute in Nepal Bank Limited, 00200100502426000001 and the voucher should be attached with the application.

4. Last date for submission of application: 2082/11/07 and double fee till 2082/11/14. If the last day for submission of application form falls on a public holiday

The application can be submitted until the next day.

5. Age limit of the candidate:

(a) For the post of Officer Level 9, the age must be 21 years and not more than 45 years.

(b) For the post of Officer Level 6, the age should be 21 years and not more than 35 years, and in the case of women and persons with disabilities, not more than 40 years.

(c) For the posts of Assistant Level 5, 4, 3 and 2, the age should not exceed 18 years but not exceed 35 years and in the case of women and persons with disabilities, not exceed 40 years.

(d) There shall be no age limit for permanent employees working in the Corporation.

6. The period of double duty will not be counted for the purposes of age, educational qualification, experience period and other qualifications.

7. Candidates must not be disqualified from being candidates as per the prevailing employee service terms and conditions of Gorkhapatra Corporation.
