Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Notice regarding Promotion through Performance Evaluation

This notice is published for the information of all the employees concerned to fill the following service/group/sub-group and level posts falling vacant in this Authority by the end of Ashar of the fiscal year 2082/83 by promoting them through performance evaluation. As per the agreement of the Public Service Commission, the minimum service period required to be a potential candidate for promotion as per Rule 6.3 of the N.N.A.U.P., Regulations on the Conditions and Facilities of Service of Employees, 2056, and who have completed the minimum educational qualification mentioned in Schedule-6 and have not been subject to action as per Rule 6.4 of the same regulations or, if they have been subject to action, have completed the said period, fill in the application form and register with the Administration Department within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of publication of this notice. It is also hereby informed that if the form is not duly filled and registered within that time limit, no action will be taken regarding the promotion of such employees and no complaint will be filed later. 1. Application Place: Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Head Office, Administration Department. 2. Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 2,000 for Level 11 and 10, Rs. 1,600 for Level 9 and 8, Rs. 1,200 for Level 7 and 6, and Rs. 600 for Level 5.

3. How to pay the application fee: The application form can be obtained from this office by submitting the original voucher clearly mentioning the name of the applicant and depositing the said fee in the account number of this authority held in N. M. B. Bank, No. 0010012611500043. 4. Last date for submission of application: 2082/12/26. If the last day for submission of application falls on a public holiday, the prescribed fee can be paid on the next day as well.

5. Required service period and educational qualification: To be a potential candidate for promotion to a service post, a person must have completed a permanent service period of four years for promotion from assistant level to officer level and from officer level to officer level in a post below one level of the service, group and subgroup of the post to be promoted and must have completed a permanent service period of three years for promotion from assistant level to assistant level and must have obtained the minimum educational qualification as per Schedule-6 of the regulations.

6. Documents to be submitted with the application form: Appointment letter of the current position, citizenship certificate, certificate of minimum required educational qualification, character certificate and certified copies of training and cash receipt of application fee for the advertised position must be submitted. Also, in the case of educational qualifications that require equivalence, a certified copy of equivalence determination must be submitted.

7. Application forms that do not follow the prescribed procedures will be cancelled at any time. The Authority will not be obliged to refund the fees of applications that are cancelled in this way. 8. Notice regarding the filling of posts for internal competitive written examination (Published date: 2082/12/06)

As per the agreement of the Public Service Commission to fill the following service/group/sub-group and level posts that will become vacant in this Authority by the end of Ashar of the fiscal year 2082/83 through an internal competitive written examination, as per Rule 6.3 of the N.N.A.P.A., Regulations on the Terms and Conditions of Service of Employees, 2056, the posts to be promoted from the Assistant level to the Officer level and from the Officer level to the Officer level for four years and from the Assistant level to the Assistant level for three years, candidates with the following qualifications are requested to fill the application form through the Online Application Form available on the Authority's website: www.caanepal.gov.np within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of publication of this notice.

Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized educational institution and at least one degree from an institution recognized by the authority at one stage or another.
