The applicant should be a farmer group/urban/committee. At least 100 cows/buffaloes/sheep, at least 50 cows or 100 pigs for meat rearing, at least 500 local chickens and 3 ha for fish. Other rules will be as per the cooperative livestock development program operation standards 2082. Maximum cost sharing up to 90 percent.

Required documents

1. Project proposal as per the prescribed format along with a Rs 10 stamp and documents mentioned in the relevant criteria.

2. In the case of a sole proprietorship, a copy of the proprietor's citizenship certificate.

3. Copy of the applicant organization's registration certificate, VAT registration certificate.

4. Copy of tax payment certificate for the previous fiscal year.

5. In the case of a farmer group/committee/cooperative, a copy of the registration certificate, annual audit report and the decision of the meeting of the board of directors of the organization.

6. A letter of recommendation from the relevant local level animal service branch stating that there is no duplication in the operation of the program and that the program is appropriate for the program.

7. Additional documents should be in accordance with the relevant standards and approved procedures related to budget and program implementation.
