Call for Expression of Interest for Partnership
Save the Children is an international non-governmental organization working in the field of children. For the past 48 years, Save the Children has been working in various districts of Nepal in the areas of child-centered child protection, child rights good governance, education, health and nutrition, livelihoods and humanitarian assistance.
Save the Children invites expressions of interest from eligible organizations interested in participating in the Adolescent, Maternal and Newborn Health Project in Jajarkot, Kalikot and Jumla districts of Karnali Province. Organizations interested in submitting expressions of interest must be youth-led organizations. Under this partnership, the project will prioritize activities such as facilitating the co-creation of activities led by pregnant and parenting adolescents in the mentioned districts to understand and address their health needs, and advocating for the health rights and participation of adolescents.
Minimum criteria that an organization must meet for partnership:
A. Registered and renewed with the Social Welfare Council as per prevailing rules.
B. In the case of an organization registered in any one of the District Administration Offices of Jajarkot, Kalikot or Jumla, registration has been renewed in the relevant District Administration Office. In the case of an organization registered in other districts, registration has been renewed in the relevant District Administration Office and a license has been obtained for operation from at least one of the District Administration Offices of Jajarkot, Kalikot or Jumla.
C. Having a Permanent Account Number (PAN).
D. Financial audit of the past 2 fiscal years has been conducted.
E. Being a youth-run organization.
Save the Children will give priority to organizations that have clear goals and objectives, are membership-based, are led by women and youth, have worked in the relevant districts in the areas of marginalized and minority groups, sexual and gender minority communities, and disabilities, are based on inclusivity, transparency, and neutrality, and have worked in partnership with government agencies, international NGOs, and donor agencies.
Interested organizations that meet the minimum criteria should submit their full details as per the EOI Guideline and Documents. The Expression of Interest should be addressed to Save the Children, Nepal Country Office, Kathmandu or Save the Children Surkhet Field Office, Surkhet, by e-mail or in a sealed envelope to the address below, indicating "Expression of Interest- Action MNH" and should reach the address below by 5:00 PM on 30th Jestha, 2082. Expressions of Interest received after the mentioned deadline will not be accepted.
The selected organizations will be contacted based on the above details. No representation will be made in favor of any organization in this regard.
If any interference or pressure is found, the letter of intent sent by the organization will be automatically rejected. Note: The partnership process will only proceed if the organizations selected through the process have project/resource availability.
