National public notice regarding applications from organizations that are operating with permission to operate Child Helpline Number 1098 Nepal and those interested in obtaining permission!!

As per Rule 90 of the Children's Regulations, 2078, the Council is required to operate the Child Helpline Service in coordination with the service provider organization in accordance with the Child Helpline No. 1098 Nepal Operating Procedure, 2076. In accordance with Sub-rule (2) of Rule 90 of the Rules and the Procedure, in coordination with this Council, especially in the emergency rescue of children who are victims of violence against children and are at risk, and in providing relief, counseling, short-term shelter and temporary protection services, family reunification, social/institutional rehabilitation and child helpline services, organizations that have been operating in the past have ensured that they have complied with the standards as per Section 13 of the Procedure. Interested social and non-governmental organizations that wish to continue and operate in accordance with the standards, are requested to submit an application in the prescribed format, along with the recommendation of the concerned local level and the Provincial Ministry of Social Development and the Provincial Ministry in charge of children, by mid-Ashar, 2082 BS, to the Council Office, Shri Mahal, Lalitpur.
The program will be operated by granting operating permits to old and new organizations that have the capacity and standards to operate the Child Helpline Service in accordance with the aforementioned regulations, procedures and standards, expanding and strengthening the service and making a coordination agreement from the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83. Organizations wishing to obtain permission to operate the Child Helpline Service in accordance with this notice will have to download the application form template available on the Council's website www.ncrc.gov.np and e-portal www.childrights.gov.np and submit an application specifying the district and place where they wish to operate.
