dZi Foundation is a USA based organization working in Nepal for over 15 years in agreement with the Social Welfare Council. The overall objective of the work dZi focuses on is to improve the overall well-being and resilience of the community, focusing on infrastructure, economic opportunity, and disaster preparedness in rural and remote areas of Koshi River Basin in Nepal. dZi strategizes three core components to meet the overall objectives:

1. Inclusive: Promote social inclusion and equitable access to opportunities for all residents, especially marginalized groups.

2. Thriving: Increase economic opportunities and financial inclusion to reduce poverty. cal new

3. Resilient: Strengthen community resilience to disasters and climate change impacts through proactive measures and adaptive strategies.

dZi calls for Expression of Interest (EoI) from local, regional and national NGOs to implement a prospective project Shared Prosperity in Nepal (SPN) in Khotang, Udaypur, Sindhuli, Sunsari and Saptari districts, provincial level in Madhesh, Koshi and national level in Kathmandu in line with the overall and three integrated objectives, as explained above. Interested local, regional and national level NGOs having all updated government compliance, functional level of operational infrastructure and efficiency, and inclusive leadership, Board and staffing as well as organizational focus on poor and marginalized communities' empowerment, are advised to submit an Eol with a maximum of 4-page concept note and one-year budget in English in line with above mentioned objectives, basic government registration and other documents, and organizational profile to [email protected] by March 28, 2025.

Please note that this is a preliminary stage of the project design and partnership exploration and so submission of Eol does not guarantee inclusion in the project. Only shortlisted NGOs will be contacted for further process. dZi reserves the right to amend or cancel this Eol call at any time without notice. Any unsolicited phone calls or inquiries will not be entertained and may result in the disqualification of the application.
