: PREPARATION OF DETAILED PROJECT REPORT (DPR) FOR GREENFIELD PROJECT OF DHAUBADI IRON COMPANY LIMITED, NEPAL (DICL)

1. Dhaubadi Iron Company Limited (DICL) has allocated fund towards the cost of PREPARATION OF DETAILED PROJECT REPORT (DPR) FOR GREENFIELD PROJECT OF DHAUBADI IRON COMPANY LIMITED, NEPAL (DICL) and intend to apply the portion of this fund to eligible payments under the contract for which this Expression of Interest is invited for International consulting service.

2. Dhaubadi Iron Company Limited Now Invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible consulting firms ("consultant") to provide the following consulting services: The DPR aims to develop a comprehensive plan for DICL's iron ore mining and integrated steel production by assessing and validating geological resources, estimating reserves and ore value, conducting metallurgical tests, and designing optimal mining, processing, and steel manufacturing facilities. It will cover site selection, waste management, technology choice, process flows, infrastructure, transportation, and raw material sourcing, while defining organizational and manpower requirements. The study will include market analysis, machinery and equipment recommendations, and detailed financial and economic evaluations with realistic pricing and investment models. It will also address by-product utilization, knowledge exchange, and project phasing with clear implementation and procurement strategies to ensure technical, economic, and environmental viability.

3. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information and EOI document at the Dhaubadi Iron Company Limited, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, Bagmati Provience, Nepal, during office hours on or before 09/10/2025; 11:00 or visit e-GP system www.bolpatra. gov.np/egp or visit the client's website www.dicl.org.np, free of cost.

4. Consultants may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications.

6. In case the last date of obtaining and submission of the EOI documents happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date but the time will be the same as stipulated.

7. EOI will be assessed based on Qualification 40%, Experience 50%, and Capacity 10% of a consulting firm and key personnel. Based on the evaluation of EOI, only shortlisted firms will be invited to submit technical and financial proposals through a request for proposal.

8. Minimum score to pass the EOI is 60 (sixty).

Note: Bidders who had submitted their Expression of Interest during first publication should also resubmit EOI Document through E-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp only. Whatever may be written on EOI documents DICL will not accept submission of Hard copy of EOI.
